My gorgeous, little model’s mum contacted me, when her daughter was almost one week old, but for a girl with a name as gorgeous as hers, I would always find time for a shoot. Meet Honey Rose!
As a Derbyshire based newborn photographer, I was one of the closest choices for Willow’s parents to come and visit, so her mum Katie contacted me early on in her pregnancy to make sure she secured her date in order to have her baby’s session.
Lyla’s mum, Charlotte, contacted me via e-mail at the end of July, to book her daughter’s newborn session which was meant to be happening in September. We exchanged a couple of messages and I was pleased to find out that Charlotte had quite clear idea as to how she’d like her daughter’s photos to look. She had attached a few examples of the photos she had seen on line and liked.
Upon reaching 1000 likes on my newborn photography Facebook page, I decided to run a competition, where my followers would tag a mom-to-be, who deserves a free session and a large canvas with her chosen image. The more nominations, the more chances of winning.
This is my first post in the “session series”. I will be letting you in on the details of what happens during selected shoots. Who better to kick start the series than little Venice, the winner of our recent competition!
