My gorgeous, little model’s mum contacted me, when her daughter was almost one week old, but for a girl with a name as gorgeous as hers, I would always find time for a shoot. Meet Honey Rose!
Honey’s dad, Steven, told me straight away, that his little peanut won’t be too much trouble, as she is usually very content and sleepy. That was not meant to be though 😉 It turned out, Honey found my space fascinating, and wasn’t interested in sleep as much as we had hoped for. I had to use my secret weapon: the straight jacket wrap!
No matter how we positioned her, she looked fabulous. She even gave me a little smirk!
Delicate wool and very feminine, crochet doily were my backgrounds of choice for this session, to show off Honey Rose beautifully, without using too many overwhelming headbands. We had her wrapped up so I did not wanted to steal the focus from our little model’s face.
Honey Rose has got some amazing genes! Just look at her parents! They are an absolutely gorgeous couple. Not only on the surface. They were brilliant to work with. Lovely, lovely people.
After a good couple of hours, we managed to get Honey so comfortable, we could unwrap her from her temporary imprisonment and let her relax on a beanbag. I made sure the temperature was warm and comfortable, and little Honey seemed to enjoy it. I wonder what she was dreaming about..?
If you are awaiting the arrival of your new baby, why not book a newborn photo session? They will only be this tiny once. Get in touch for more information: maggie@dinkyfeet.co.uk
