Henry’s lovely parents didn’t want to have him Photoshopped on a plane flying across the Gobi desert. They didn’t want their baby dressed in any of my crazy outfits, which I have a vast collection of. They wanted their session to be about their baby, raw, basic, and beautiful. And I love that. I have a passion for opulent setups but I also love a bit of lifestyle, or as Henry preferred: “freestyle” session.
Let me tell ya. This boy is not a sleeper. Nope. He doesn’t want to miss a thing. But then I am not a quitter either. We got there in the end. Here are Henry’s best shots:
We then mixed it up a bit with a few props. I do love my props, and somehow I manage to add them even to the most natural and baby – centered session.
And a few more, simple and natural…
And of course my favourite detail shots. I absolutely love doing those as it shows you the perspective. They were this tiny! In a few years, I can just see Henry’s mom shouting from the bottom of the stairs, when Henry watches Netflix: “Come do the dishes! I remember when you could fit in my hands, you were much less trouble then.”
Last but not least, we had the gorgeous parents in front of the camera.
How gorgeous is he!
